Personal Retreats

Tsegyalgar West is the international location for whole International Dzogchen Community for longer personal retreats.

Particularly suited because of its quiet, ample space, its affordability, and the presence of caretakers who can assist those on retreat. There are plenty of secluded spots for people wishing to practice outdoors, in solitude.

Although we are a Dzogchen Community and our main intent is to serve people who are students of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, we also welcome practitioners from other traditions.

For lodging, we offer private casitas or camping. The cost depends on length of retreat, and if you are a member of the Dzogchen Community. Casita Fee Structure 2017-18

You have kitchen in your casitas where to cook your own meals. One of our caretakers will do food shopping for you. In same period of the year you can have meals cooked for you. Consult the Fee Structure page to find the cost of these options.

You will need to register below to reserve a place. Once your application has been reviewed, we will confirm availability. At that point, you will need to pay online 50% of your lodging costs to reserve a place. The rest of the lodging fee is due 30 days before your retreat begins, or immediately if you are booking a retreat less than 1 months ahead. Food costs are paid in pesos, upon arrival.

We cannot guarantee to be able to provide you with airport transportation unless we have so confirmed. If you are interested in this option, please email us the dates and exact time of your arrival and departure. and your cell phone number, and we will email you to let you know if we can pick you up.
