RETREAT CENTER FUNDRAISING

The Mission of TSEGYAGAR WEST is to preserve the Dzogchen Teachings in the Natural Biosphere of Retreat land for the benefit of all beings. Please help us in this mission.

TW Retreat Center is the largest (GAR) land wise, but the smallest in terms of local people.

The 3,000 acre wilderness preserve in Baja Ca Sur is vast and beautiful with many arroyos and springs. Rinpoche indicated that the essential elements are here for deep retreat – group teachings and especially personal retreat.

We have 20 rustic casitas with beautiful views in the center of the Sierra de Laguna Mountian Range in Baja Ca Sur. There is a open air communal kitchen, new solar electricity, a Meditation Gonpa and a Vajra Dance hall where retreats are held November through April.

Rinpoche’s request is to develop TW for deep personal retreat. We ask your help to maintain and support the center’s mission, and to help improve conditions for world wide communities participation.

Adopt a Casita Fund

Fundraising Program We need to renovate and repair existing casitas, also improve bathrooms, showers and basic comforts. We have a list of needed ítems for each casita (ie.e; roof sealing, shaded patios, paint or furniture) with quality standards, This will help to provide needed rental income to the Gar.

We have gifts for donors at different levels. If you decide to fully furnish a particular casita we’ll make that casita available for free stays. Know your support enables others the opportunity to practice at TW also.

You can choose a specific casita to adopt, or make a general donation for infrastructure priority items. If you have a specific items to donate (such as nice wood furniture, tables etc) please contact the secretary at tsegyalgarwestsecretary@gmail.com. Thank you for your generosity!!

ODDIYANA Casita Retreat

A very secluded and beautiful place for serious retreat. Grounds have filtered spring water, a big casita foundation, composting bathroom and shower. A very special retreat place before the damage in Hurricane Odile.

We have a natural builder coming for this next season to help oversee work, but need funding for materials and work study people who wish to assist. We welcome participation for the following:
