The Tsegyalgar West property near San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, offers a variety of opportunities for those wishing to visit, stay, attend a retreat, do personal retreat, or conduct a retreat or workshop! It is also an excellent place to explore a tropical drylands ecological system, and learn about the plants and animals of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains.

wTW2028The weather is good (70 – 88 degrees) normally from November through May, with temperatures in the 60’s possible at night in late December and January.  There is usually very little rain during the same period.  This means that being outdoors is very comfortable, most of the time that Tsegyalgar West is open to visitors.  Summer and Fall (July to October) are generally quite warm, and only appropriate for visitors who tolerate heat well.nBecause the international airport and the tourist town of San Jose del Cabo is only 30 & 40 minutes away, logistics are fairly convenient for travellers and visitors.

You are invited to attend the Dzogchen Community retreats and practices listed on our calendar. Upcoming retreats are announced on the landing page, and for those you have to register in advance. We offer a variety of Tibetan Dzogchen teachings, webcasts, dance and yoga practices to help practitioners discover the freedom of pure awareness, overcome unskillful emotional and mental habits, and reduce tension. Generally prior transmission from the Teacher is not required to attend, but this will be specified on the retreat announcement. A serious interest in these teachings is most important.
